Porsche PDK Gearbox Repairs

The PDK automatic gearbox features in several Porsche models, including the Porsche 911, Boxster, and Cayman (from 2009 onwards).

These Porsche 911, Boxter, and Cayman automatic gearboxes are notorious because Porsche will only replace the entire unit if even a minor component fails – it is described as a “sealed unit” – and the cost of a total replacement can run to c£20,000. Porsche will not undertake any repairs, supply any component parts, or provide any assistance or advice for repairs.

• valve body
• solenoids
